Dr Leke Pitan
Dr. Leke Pitan (MBBS, MPH) is on the Board of Directors for Flying Doctors Healthcare Investment Company. Dr Pitan was the Honorable Commissioner for Health in Lagos State, Nigeria from 1999 to 2006. He thereafter was appointed as the Commissioner for Education and served till 2007.
Dr. Pitan has worked and served in various capacities. He is a member of the Forum on evidence-based health policy-making of the Nigerian Academy of Science. He is Chairman of the Project Advisory Committee of the Ford Foundation’s Health Journalists’ Immersion Program – Maternal, Child and Newborn Health. He is Executive Director of Pitman-UK training Centre in Nigeria.
Dr. Pitan was the first African to be elected as a member of the Governing Council of the International Hospital Foundation at the 34th World Hospital Congress in 2005, where he served for six years. He is also a member of the IHF Executive and Audit and Finance Committees. He has been honoured with National Merit Awards by the Nigerian Medical Association and the Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria.
Dr. Pitan is passionate about improving healthcare access and the quality of life of people, particularly in Africa.
Dr Tunde Adeyeye
Dr Tunde Adeyeye is a public health practitioner and an astute businessman. He is the Founder and the Group Managing Director of International Facilities Services (IFS Group – Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa) Ltd, Draiklinas Limited and Klinserv Solutions Limited. He is also the Chairman of Treasures Microfinance Bank Limited.
A keen and shrewd investor, Dr Adeyeye is a firm believer in the future prosperity of Nigeria based on free market enterprise and good democratic governance. He is committed to supporting the aspirations of other entrepreneurs through the vehicle of opportunity creation and access to finance and other inputs required for successful enterprise.
Ngozi Edozien has over 25 years’ experience in finance/private equity, general management and strategy/business development functions with multinational companies in Europe, USA and Africa.
She is an alumna of Harvard College and Harvard Business School, Harvard University. She joined McKinsey & Company in 1992 and left as Associate Principal, in 1999 when she joined Pfizer Inc. as Vice President, Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals (PGP) Strategic Planning and Business Development. She held this position until her appointment as the Regional Director, PGP East, Central and Anglophone West Africa in January 2005 a position she held till 2008. She served as Head of West Africa for Actis LLP from 2009 until 2014.
She is the Founder and Managing Director of Invivo Partners Limited and Physio Centres of Africa Ltd.
Bode Agusto is a Chartered Accountant with over three decades of work experience in both the private and public sector. Bode was an Assistant Vice President in Citibank Nigeria, a Partner in PwC, and Director-General & Adviser (Budget Matters) to President Olusegun Obasanjo during his second term in office. He was also a non-Executive Director of the National Pension Commission (PenCom), the Shell Nigeria Pension Fund and a member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
He is currently an independent researcher/consultant. His research interests and speaking engagements cover politics, economics, and business strategy in the key economies of sub-Saharan Africa – Nigeria, South Africa, Angola, Kenya, Tanzania, Ivory Coast, Ghana, DRC and Cameroon. He has served as adviser to various companies in Nigeria. He is also a non-Executive Director of Agusto & Co. Ltd and Guaranty Trust Bank Plc.
Bode holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos, an Executive Certificate in Strategy & Innovation from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
In 2002, President Obasanjo invested Bode Agusto as a Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) for his contributions to the Nigerian economy.

Dr Ola Brown
Dr Ola Brown is the Founder and Chief Executive of the Flying Doctors Healthcare Investment Group. She has over 13 years’ experience working as a healthcare entrepreneur and investor in Africa with the establishment of West Africa’s first air ambulance company, Flying Doctors Nigeria.
Dr Ola studied Medicine and Surgery at the Hull York Medical School after which she worked in Acute Medicine in the UK. She then went on to be awarded the Japanese MEXT scholarship which allowed her to further her studies in Tokyo, Japan, the fellowship focused on lab-based research with induced pluripotent stem cells. She is currently completing her Masters degree in Finance and Economic Policy at the University of London. Her post-graduate areas of study also include Pre-hospital Emergency care, Healthcare leadership and Healthcare delivery.She has a certificate in Economic Policy Making from IE Business School, Spain and a certificate in Accounting for Decision Making from the University of Michigan in the United States.
Along with two other directors, Dr Ola runs an early stage venture capital firm, Greentree Investment Company which provides growth capital to some of Africa’s most exciting tech start-u’s. Greentree Investment Company has invested in start-ups in various sectors including fintech, media, SaaS, Agri-tech, manufacturing, ecommerce, health tech and Edutech making it one of West Africa’s leading venture capital firms.
Dr Ola Brown sits on the board of the Professional Women’s Network (Lagos Chapter). She also helps facilitate trade between Nigeria, the United States and the UK through her seats on the Committee of the British Business Group (Lagos) and the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce (Healthcare Section) respectively.
Oluwatosin Aremu is a versatile and experienced Operations Executive, aptly combining his background in Business Development and academics to lead the day to day activities of the Flying Doctors Healthcare Investment Company. Over the years, he has successfully supported the company with result-driven business growth strategies and creation of a dynamic brand.
He brings to bear his experience in managing multiple projects and product development, as well as coordination over 100 medical evacuation missions, managing networks of doctors and nurses, overseeing remote site clinic operations, laboratory operations, managing communications with embassies, airlines, corporate bodies and airports.
Oluwatosin holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Certificate in Healthcare Management.
Omotayo Omoyeni is an accountant with over 8 years’ experience in finance and administration. He also has demonstrable expertise in business operations and development. He has worked closely with the management of FDHIC to identify and manage the company’s investment portfolio, bringing fresh insights into investment decisions.
He is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), holds a Diploma in Strategic Management from the University of Ilorin, and is completing a certification course in Advanced Financial Modelling.
Business Development Manager
Ajibola Bakare is a business development specialist with a track record of improving organisational growth, revenue and profitability. With over 10 years’ experience and stint in health insurance, he has a full understanding of healthcare financing dynamics for bottom of the pyramid users.
Ajibola holds a first degree in Biochemistry. He provides core industry analysis as well as facilitates strategic partnership opportunities that ensure business continuity.
