According to the WHO, high-quality diagnostic technologies are available for infectious diseases in most developed countries, but they are neither accessible nor affordable in developing countries, where disease burdens are high. One of our portfolio companies, MDaaS Global, is solving this problem by building Africa’s largest network of physical & virtual diagnostic facilities. They are also building primary care facilities to provide convenient, high-quality, and affordable healthcare for the continent’s next billion.

Driving MDaaS’, is a well-rounded founding team of four. The CEO, Oluwasoga Oni (Soga) has a firsthand knowledge of the health care system having grown up in a family of doctors. He started his career as a software engineer in Nigeria and went on to earn an MA in Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an MA in System Design and Management from MIT.

Oluwasoga joined forces with three co-founders; Genevieve Barnard Oni, the CFO with a background in public health, Joe McCord, a supply chain and sourcing expert and Opeyemi Ologun, an operations specialist & Nigeria Country Manager and together they launched MDaas Global in 2016.
